What is theWELL Quarterly?
The Well Quarterly is our seasonal publication celebrating hospitality, gathering, and community throughout Ventura and Santa Barbara Counties.
Each issue shares conversations, recipes, and stories featuring the people whose work inspires the way we gather—from farmers and ranchers to chefs, florists, vintners, bakers, artisans, and local families.
Who can be featured in theWELL Quarterly?
We’re always looking to share stories that reflect the heart of our community.
We welcome conversations with farmers, ranchers, chefs, bakers, restaurateurs, café owners, florists, winemakers, makers, venue owners, event professionals, nonprofit leaders, and families who have a meaningful story to tell.
If your work contributes to the culture of gathering well, we’d love to hear from you.
I’m a venue owner or event professional. Can we collaborate?
Absolutely.
One of our greatest joys is introducing our readers to the incredible people and places throughout our community. Whether you’re interested in being featured, collaborating on an editorial, hosting a styled gathering, or partnering on a future issue, we’d love to start the conversation.
Is there a cost to be featured?
No.
Our editorial features are selected because we genuinely admire the people, businesses, and stories that make our region unique. Every feature is thoughtfully curated to reflect the mission and values of theWELL Quarterly.
How are features selected?
We look for people whose work reflects thoughtful craftsmanship, hospitality, generosity, and a genuine love for serving others. Every issue is intentionally curated around the season, allowing us to highlight stories that feel authentic, timely, and rooted in our local community.
Can I recommend someone to be featured?
We’d love that.
Some of the best stories begin with a simple recommendation. If there’s a local grower, chef, artist, florist, rancher, venue, or family whose story deserves to be shared, we’d be grateful to hear about them.
